The Founder's Story
Marvel Perilla Britton brings a distinctive blend of international flair and entrepreneurial vision to the beauty industry. Before entering cosmetics, she built a career in international business and diplomacy, work that gave her a truly global perspective on beauty, culture, and identity.
Born and raised on Corn Island, off Nicaragua’s Atlantic Coast, Marvel’s love of nature and deep connection to people shaped her aesthetic sensibility from an early age. A scholarship took her to study in South America, and later to Germany’s prestigious Goethe-Institut in Berlin
A Moment of Inspiration
It was in Berlin, during visits to the Pergamon Museum, that everything changed. Marvel became captivated by the ancient Sumerian and Babylonian art of the Ishtar Gate and the Processional Way, drawn to the dense earth tones, harvest hues, and shimmering shades of copper, terracotta, and lapis lazuli glazed into brick friezes thousands of years old.

The Birth of Marvellíssima
That moment of inspiration became the foundation of Marvellíssima. As Marvel traveled and worked across major international cities, she recognized a gap in the beauty industry: a growing, multicultural community of women searching for color cosmetics designed specifically for their diverse skin tones, from the palest porcelain to the richest bronze and espresso.
Marvellíssima was born from that vision. A hypoallergenic, cruelty-free makeup collection built on a jewel-toned palette inspired by ancient art, formulated to enhance the full spectrum of skin tones with equal care and beauty.
